Budapest at Night

Vienna
Vienna, the capital of Austria, is located just 240 km from Budapest and is accessible by highway in 2.5 hours. Upon arrival in Vienna, we will drive along the famous Ringstrasse. This will give us a first impression of the main sights, and then we will see City Park, the State Opera, the Parliament, the Burgtheater, and the City Hall. We will then take a short walk in the most beautiful parts of the city center: Museum Quarter, Hofburg, Kärntnerring, and St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Depending on your choice, you will have some time for shopping in the elegant pedestrian zone or visit Schönbrunn Palace.

Bratislava
Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, is located just 220 km from Budapest and is reachable by highway in 2.5 hours. During a 1.5-hour walk, we will have the opportunity to explore the historical city center. In the Main Square of the Old Town, we will learn about Slovak history and culture and admire the neoclassical architecture of the Primate’s Palace. After that, we will stroll down to the quiet and beautiful Franciscan Square and visit the coronation church of former Hungarian kings, St. Martin’s Cathedral.
